Air Force Crystal Ride - Tri bikes welcome?

It looks like the Crystal Ride is mostly/all roadies! I assume the organizers are ok with tri bikes, but how are they treated on the road. Is it just better to suck it up and ride my tiered road bike?

Yes. A few people may be on tri bikes but I strongly recommend riding your road bike, regardless of how competent a cyclist you are.

I did it on a tri bike last year and it wasn't an issue. Saw many other TT bikes out there as well, just not in the pelotons.

I did it on a tri bike also, and there were no issues at all.
I saw no race support out there (including water), so bring all the food and drinks you think you'll need.

Yes. I also road the entire event last year on my tri bike. At one point, an entire line of road bikes was drafting behind me!! The only issue was that sections of the roads were in very poor condition. Otherwise a super fun event! But it conflicts with Eagleman this year so I won't be there.
