+1. I was kept from Savageman by illnes in '08 and by a cliffjumping injury in '09. Having another go at it. I'm told this is a bike course you don't want to meet for the first time on race day. Thank you for this opportunity.
I am in 100% (so is shaalini, so thats 2 of us). We did this last year and it is perhaps my favorite triathlon memory - wouldn't miss it for the world.
Q: Anyone obect to promoting this a little more within the club by cross-listing it under: (1) "Savageman Training Weekend" like last year (I don't imagine Kyle & co. would object), and (2) the events and workouts forums -- also perhaps H/ITP? More the merrier, I say -- compadres for folks at the full spectrum of paces, plus more voices to howl at the moon by fireside at night. As noted above, we can get more campsites if more DC Tri Clubers want to attend. Be a shame to see a fellow DCTCluber lay down their bike or go backwards on the Westernport Wall (especially to the Rocky theme or We Are the Champions) because they weren't prepared. From experience, more than one post on the same subject gets things messy. Usually we end up referring folks to just one post with a link. Yes we can add more campsites (until they fill up), and are on the verge of adding a 5th.

Yes we plan to put it out in the newsletter. It's pretty far in advance right now, though we're adding campsites at a decent pace.
