Hey, everybody.

I'm organizing the club's involvement in TeamDC's SportsFest again this year, and I need your help! I mostly want you to come, wear a DC Tri Club t-shirt, hang out, and talk to attendees about the club and the sport of triathlon. We had a lot of fun last year. It's a very social event.

Date: Thursday, April 12
Time: 7 - 9 p.m.
Location: Room and Board, 1840 14th St. NW (14th and T streets).

The purpose of SportsFest is for all the gay and gay-friendly sports organizations in the city to come together, interact, talk to prospective members, and have a fun night together. Nellie's and Miller Lite are sponsoring the event, and I believe there'll be a cash bar on the terrace. More info on TeamDC here: www.teamdc.org.

Last year Rob and Alejandro were our main attractions, sweating through a trainer workout in their tightest bike shorts. Rob was shotgunning beers on his bike at one point.

To piggy back off of the TeamDC's SportsFest the April DCTri Club LGBT Happy Hour will be at the new MOVA on 14th Street.

Date: Thursday, April 19th
Place: MOVA (14th and W, NW)
Time: 6:30pm. But get there as early or late as you want. There is evening entertainment for those who wish to stay a little later.

Happy Hour 6-9pm 2 for 1 drinks

The drinking gods have spoken (not to me, I am in purgatory after San Diego) and the next HH is on FRIDAY June 1st, 6:30pm at Nellie's.

This month we are going dancing. Friday, August 24. Cobalt. Let's say 9ish pm for now but we'll finalize time as we get closer.

Let's keep in mind that on Fridays from 5pm-8pm they have 'All you care to drink' for $15 rail and domestics or $21 for call and imports.

Friday the 24th is also Master Swim - so I may smell a bit of chlorine :). Who all is going?

The event entry says 6:30. But cobalt at 6:30...mmm..that won't work ha ha. Thoughts?

And it won't work, why? 5-8pm "all you can drink" for $15? How does that not work?
