Will try and make it after Master Swim --- probably closer to 830.
We will still be there. Holding down (or is it up?) the fort.
all you can drink + this guy = disaster. Always.
We'll come by a bit later after I get a run in (so I can skip it tomorrow!!)
all you can drink + above guy = fun. Always.
I got my run done this morning (so I can skip it tomorrow!!)
See you guys tonight.
Will stop by on the earlier side since I have another thing at 7:30.
Also the Federal GLOBE and LGBT Bar Foundation are having a happy hour at the same time, so if you're looking to snag a lawyer now's your chance.
Team DC Velo and DC Tri Club LGBT October Happy Hour - Thursday October 18th; 6:30pm @ Cobalt
Team DC Velo is the Washington DC area's competitive cycling team for the LGBT community. The group is looking to build up membership again as the Outgames and the Gay Games loom on the horizon in 2013 and 2014, respectively. If you are interested in cycling (both recreational and competitive) and want to find out what Team DC Velo is about, then please join us Thursday October 18th at 630PM at Cobalt. Chuck Harney, owner of The Bike Rack, the sponsor shop of Team DC Velo, will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. The LGBT contingent of the DC Triathlon Club will also be around to talk about cycling and share drinks with their biking friends.
Happy Hour Specials are $2 Miller Lt and $3 Rail drinks.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to do happy hour, but am interested in finding out more about Team DC Velo. Can someone point me in the right direction?
I'm guessing that you can just email Chuck to find out more information.
Sorry to jump the thread but I'm teaching some cycling classes at the new studio that opened across from Nellies. I have two classes on thurs nights. 6-650 is a standard indoor cycling class. 7-815 is a cycle/core/TRX class. First class is free so shoot me a message if you want to come by for a class.
Courtney and I are hoping to make it out for a beer afterwards and maybe see some of you out there.
There's a party on the rooftop
Top of the world tonight, tonight.

It's that time of year again for the annual High Heals Race. Come join some fellow club members to kick back some drinks and watch this absolutely fabulous race on October 30th. Hopefully Sandy will not damper the evening.
Where: JR's (17th between P and Q)
The High Heals Race has been moved to Thursday evening due to the storm. We will meet at JRs around 6:30 to 7 on Thursday instead.
Aw, nuts. I can't get there until 8 on Thurs. What time is the actual race?

Come stop by and join us for some drinks and for those who wish to stay longer you can join our trivia team at 8pm and kick some butt.
Hope you're able to make it out for some part of the evening.
Just a reminder that DC Tri LGBT and friends happy hour is Wednesday at Nellies. Also, message me if you are interested in joining the group for trivia. I would like to get a head count before so we can reserve a big enough table. See you on Wednesday! Cheers!
To shake things up a bit this month and to recover from our rough trivia night last month (god what was with all the sports questions??.....), this months happy hour will be a night out. The place...Secrets! Yes Secrets. Ladies we know many of you have been curious so here is the opportunity. To start the night we will assemble at Nellies for a few drinks around 8 then we will hop on the metro or cab down to Secrets around 10.
P.S. Ron has canceled his "in-class" spin class on the 16th so there are no excuses for having to get up early... :)
