I sing in a classic rock cover band.

We have a gig on Saturday night in Northern Virginia.

This would detrimentally affect an early Sunday ride, but in case you aren't doing that:

I just joined the band 4 months ago, so I sing about 75% backup right now, but... I do take the lead microphone a few times. :)

Peace,
Abby

Abby's voice has often been mistaken for Stevie Nicks.

Bangkok Blues on Saturday, Vietnamese Century on Sunday. Maybe the Hains bike time trial on Saturday could have a a South Asian theme too.

Hi Abby. I used to work with Paul, tell him Jeff Halper says Hi and that you guys need to get something in MoCo so I can get the local DCTri'ers out to a gig!

Jeff! Small world! Yes, Paul is our lead guitarist. He rocks. :) I'll tell him you said hello.

We're working on other venues... If you have any suggestions for small spots in MoCo, we'll see what we can do (or who's arms we need to twist).

So sad the Grog went the way of the dodo...

I thought this was going to be a book signing of Slow Burn by Stu Mittleman (highly recommend it) but the band is probably more fun.

Neat. I used to play guitar in a rock band in high school (as well as piano for the school musicals and for some community theater shows). But I haven't touched the guitar in years.

I signed up for a 5K for Sunday. I'm gunning for another PR so I doubt I'll be at the concert. Have fun though.
