In for 5K. Did not sign up for Sunday events - after the 5K - I may have to get new arms.
I totally thought the 5k was a run. Hahahaha. I swam 5k during the DC Tri Swimathon... I don't think I could do it open water! Good for you!
Ed - thanks for posting this for everyone. I received the same email and was going to do that. Most likely, I'll swim the 2-miler for tradition. Looking to bring the club tent for this event.
Well - if you are bringing the club tent- maybe I'll volunteer to patrol on my stand up paddle board on the Sunday : )
I am feeling an inexplicable urge to sign up for all three races...
Can't decide if different events on different days is disappointing or intriguing. In for 5k and 1 mile. Which will likely end up as 5k, or 1 mile, or laying out at the pool.
Edit: I'm laying out at the pool. Have fun guys.
In for Saturday's 5K, longest OWS to date for me, despite only building up to c. 3,700 workouts which, should make it, uh, interesting.
Right there with you ED! See you Saturday.
And looks like a nice AM for a swim - muggy and hot. Prefer swimming a 5K to running it in that weather.
Oh, Ed, how could it possibly anything BUT amazing? It's swimming during Memorial Day Weekend!
