Rides to Columbia Brick-nic?

I may have lost track. Has a thread started to arrange car pools for Saturday? I gave up my car but still have a rack for two bikes that attaches to the trunk if that helps. Anyone in Columbia Heights/Adams Morgan???

Hi-
I am also looking for a ride to the brick-nic. I live in Capitol Hill, but can get anywhere on a metro line. Looking forward to the event.

I thought everyone was bicycling up to the brick-nic.... :)

....I'm heading up from Alexandria, and looking for a ride too.

I have an extra slot on my bike carrier. I can take one as long as you can meet me at the Silver Spring metro station in the morning. First one to drop me an email gets the free ride :)

My one extra slot on the bike rack has been taken. If anyone wants to tag along without the bike then you are still welcome to ride in the back seat of my car.

I'm looking for a ride, also. I live in Mt. Pleasant but could hop over to any spot within DC or nearby MD.

I am heading up very early to ride the course around 8:30 because I'll be doing the sweep wagon for the olympic course. I do have room for one person and one bike as the rest of my car will be filled with cooler for the 'nic. I'll be there for most of the day.

First person to contact me (I live in New Carrollton) and I can give you a ride. E-mail me at coach@ncrdolphins.com

Lucy - I'll be driving up from Capitol Hill and am happy to give someone a ride up there. I do not have a bike rack though, I just carry my bike in the back of my car. So if you have a bike rack we can strap onto the car, I can give 2 ppl a ride.

I'd like to take you up on that. I may just ride my bike up into Bethesda- any chance you can pick me up downtown Bethesda by the CCT or at Beach Drive and East-West Highway? Thanks, Bella (btonkonogy@yahoo.com)

marysue - sure. Do you have a bike rack by any chance ? I'll have to check whether I can fit 2 bikes in the back of my car.

I have one spot on my bike rack; live in SW DC. Drop me a line if you're in SW or close by and need a ride.

I'd like to take u up on that, too. I'm in NW DC - Mt Pleasant - but can come wherever in Bethesda is convenient. Perhaps I can coordinate with others coming from outside of Bethesda.

My email is ssahaf@gmail.com

Thanks,
Sophie

Hi Shay,

I would love to take you up on the ride if you still have room in your car. I can bring the bike rack. Please let me know if you still have space. lucy.myles@gmail.com

Thanks!
Lucy
