Having issues making Garmin talk to TrainingPeaks.

Yes, I downloaded Device Agent. It won't install. I've contacted TrainingPeaks.

Anyone else have issues?

I use the Device Agent, it's been installed for almost a year. No problems.

My coach has been having problems reading my HR in the bike data (just recently and with some other athletes) and doesn't show it. She had me reload it again and then it worked. Maybe there is some sort of glitch they are working on b/c I never had that issue before.

here's a work-around. I use this method anyway, because I think the Device Manager from TP is dumb.

If you have a Garmin Edge 500: Open it up from your C:\ drive or "Computer" as you would an external drive. You can manually grab the file from the device and store on your desktop/hard drive (I keep a folder called Garmin-Bike on my desktop). When in your workout, you can upload that file directly. It works fine for me.

For the Forerunner (and even the Edge devices), you can Export them from Garmin Connect as .tpx/.gpx file, save on your hard disk, then upload manually into Training Peaks.

I could go at length and be way more specific, but I'm assuming you guys are fairly familiar with both Garmin Connect and Training Peaks databases. If you cant figure it out, PM me and I'll guide you through.
