Count me in.
Thank you thank you thank you NTP organizers for making Lake Annaswim + ride possible. It was wonderful. YOU are wonderful!
I totally agree. Great job!
Right on! Great to meet a bunch of you, looking forward to the next NTP event. Thanks for letting an old mentor swim and ride with you!
Thanks so much for a fabulous morning and delicious picnic! I can't believe how much you NTP leaders do for us. :) Lolly
I was particularly impressed by an expectant Amy McKee, "flipping burgers for two." :) Actually for about a hundred....
yep thanks NTP organizers. lake anna was a blast and very very helpful and the bbq really hit the spot!
It was great! I really appreciated the help from Simon especially. My breathing is MUCH better now. ..and the woman (?Debbie) who ran the clinic - she was great too! I plan on heading back to Lake Anna on my own to get more of the "lake" experience before the big NJ tri! Thanks again everyone!
You might also want to consider the Gunston Manor OWS clinic. It's much closer than Lake Anna and costs $10. There is another session July 11th. Here is a link
It's like the best event of the year. Make sure you come back and volunteer for next year's (that will make a lot more sense after your first tri :P). Trying to figure out when to go Sandy Point for a swim / bike again - this sunday, next sunday the 5th of July, or after. Any suggestions or requests - too tired to think...
Definitely agree! The swim clinic was so helpful and Debbie's tips were great! Thank you so much for organizing!
And just in case anyone missed this, the woman who led the clinic, Debi Bernardes, placed 5th overall among the age groupers the next day at the Dextro ITU race. She proves that triathlon is a great lifestyle past your 20s and 30s and having kids!
