Something else to help pass the time while you wait for the snow to melt...
A speedsuit!! So that's what I've been missing from my swim!
Thanks, J. That's was hilarious!
Good one. I especially liked, "your thighs have dimples."
i can feel my cables stretch
"I think you should have spent those 18 hours training."
haha amazing. amateur categories should have spending limits. that said, nothing feels better than passing an "aero" gear-head on 3,000 wheels that make spaceship sounds, leaving him in the dust to ponder the clicking of your maladjusted derailer.
I love this. I am going to send this out to my buddy who is taking up the sport this year. He decided to start out with a tri-bike, unable to make a decision he went with what he thought was the coolest one. He then sent me a picture of himself on his new Trek TTX. He then emailed me and asked if he should get aero wheels with it. I can't wait to see the total purchase before the year even starts:
Trek TTX- $6500
Aero Helmet- $150
Zoot Zenieth 2- $650
Garmin 310- $350
Tri gear- ???
I am venturing he will break into the $10,000 mark.
Guy on a hybrid passing him - priceless :) j/k
Oh man... now that would be hilarious.
Make sure to let him in on the veteran secret of shaving 45 seconds off T1 time by keeping his wetsuit on for the whole race... ;)
It's true, though. There are people in the front pack with speed suits.
