Good luck all! So far, the weather looks good: mostly cloud with highs in the 40s.

Good luck to all DC Tri-ers in Beantown tomorrow. Have fun and enjoy the sights. Wave to the bikers at the Salt and Pepper bar in Ashland. Don't forget the girls of Wellesley. Go Red Sox!

Today, in Boston the USA brought home two 3rd places from Ryan Hall and Kara Goucher. Here are the results of our fellow club members. Looked like the weather was cooperative.

Kip Pierson 3:08.05
Monte Hawkins 2:51.36
Peter Nguyen 3:04.49

Also...

Emily Armstrong - 3:45:14
Al Navidi - 3:50:40

I see a rematch next year for those two! For now, the victory goes to Ms. Armstrong :).

I have ran Boston 8 times and still have not figured out how to train for & race it!! My times have ranged from 2:57 to 3:33, which is a testimony on how tough it is and how fast things can go wrong!

Well done to everyone!! Take a little rest to recovery.

Personally, I feel the course isn't that tough, it's the weather conditions that can affect you. I've done it five times and the first time I ran it I had pretty much even half-marathon splits. Actually, I would love to talk with you guys about race strategy.
