Phoenix Bike Show 4/8 in Ballston
POSTED: 4/01/10 8:45 AM

Phoenix Bikes is having their third annual bike show next Thursday in Ballston. Phoenix Bikes is a non-profit bike shop in Arlington (near mile 1 of the W&OD) that promotes biking to kids and teaches kids how to fix bikes. There is always lots of food and drinks at their shows and it's definitely a great cause. Chris Eatough, who was featured in the documentary 24solo, will be there.

Phoenix Bikes is a local community bike shop and youth program located in Arlington and will be hosting their annual fundraising event next Thursday, 7-9PM. The venue (NRECA, 4301 Wilson Blvd, Arlington) is located near the Ballston Metro and there will also be a free bike valet!

This year you will have a chance to learn about the extraordinary rides submitted by DC-area riders and selected by our esteemed panel of judges. Chris Eatough (Six-time 24-Hour MTB World Champion) will be the keynote speaker for the event.

You'll also have a chance to win one of FOUR raffle bikes, bid on silent auction items from the likes of RE.Load bags, Patagonia, Rapha, local area restaurants, and more! You'll also get to enjoy food and beverage while hanging out with Phoenix Bikes volunteers, staff members and youth!

The bike show is our most important fundraising opportunity of the year, and your support is greatly appreciated by everyone at Phoenix Bikes! This is going to be an awesome event. To give you an idea, check out photos from last year!
