Thanks for the rocket ride out McArthur but why did *some* people skip Mass Ave hill on the way back?
Nice hair daddy-o.

What's the will of the group for Saturday? I'm on the fence. It was a great ride last weekend, but this is also the last time trial of the season.

What's the difference? I feel like I've done a TT either way.

Ride in the TT and then head out for a long cool down ride.

Just think Patrick....if you do the TT at 28mph and just destroy yourself you might just get dropped on Mac Arthur if you ride with the group afterwards at 27 mph ;)

I'm going to try and make it out to penn. & 8th this week. Can anyone let me know what pace does the group usually ride at?

Average is usually 20 or so, with the lead group going 27 on the flats at times down Mac Arthur, and trying to break each other up the hills...it is tons of fun...(rolling eyes)

There is usually a good spread of riders though and always someone to tack onto that isn't looking to break the human powered bicycle land speed record...PATRICK!

It'd be really great if we could get a couple pace groups going on Saturday for those who want to keep the pace more sane, and those who want to put Chad in the hurt locker.

Alas, some do crank it up pretty high at times (guilty as charged?) but I think the group does a pretty good job of re-grouping at certain key points along the way so as to not get anyone lost.

key points? what are those? your apartment at the end of the ride?

jokes aside, I am happy enough spending the ride tucked into Eric's wake or dropping back if there is critical mass for an A- group. I am also happy to stop mid way for a crepe.
