Gotta be home by 1030...I'll pass you on my way back
I'm IN for the ride- see you in G-town. Extra credit for those that want to join me and do some National Zoo repeats after the normal ride. We can do Tilden once too if interested. Plus it's all downhill from there back to Cap Hill.
Anyone interested leaving earlier, going out to the T and back. Rolling through georgetown around 8:30 +/-.
Sounds like there's momentum for a 9am start tomorrow from the Hill (8th and Penn) and swinging through GTown (Wisc and M, heading north) at 9:20-9:30 on our way out to at least Great Falls. Weather looks sunny and awesome. Who's in?
What else would one do on a Saturday morning? I am in.
In...looks to be a beautiful day! See you in Gtown at 9:20ish.
I guess that means I should clean my bike from last week? *IN*
Unlike Eric, I'll be riding dirty.
Sounds good...fingers crossed...fitting tonight on my new baby....so give me a wide berth. Don't know how different the balance will be from road to tri bike.
Wisconsin and M...I'm sure there's an easy way to get there via roads without driving and parking.
I'm coming from south Arlington...I guess I could take the Keye Bridge over...anyone else have any suggestions?
If you're driving, you might park in the Teddy Roosevelt Island parking lot on GW Parkway, then ride for 5 minutes over the Key Bridge to the meeting spot. Or by bike ride past there and on to Key Bridge.
Since complete rest isn't helping my hamstring, I'm in but am hoping to take it somewhat easy.
Paula - I ride to G-town from South Arlington, its actually a decent warm up to ride up George Mason Dr. and over Fairfax to Clarendon Blvd into DC.
See everyone in the am, looking forward to some sunshine!
The club's gear order is getting finalized and you might want to help. A minimum order of 10 is needed for the DC Tri bike shorts and bike bibs (can be mixed, male and female).
I told Karen who's managing the order that I bet many of you would like some new shorts/bibs. If you do, please email her at email@example.com
Info about the bibs: "In all seriousness, the Hincapie bibs are great quality and really freaking comfortable and for $65 it's about the best deal going."
Info about the shorts: Check the gear site: http://dctriclub.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=Shop.welcome
I emailed her with interest in the bibs. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org ASAP if you have interest in either!

Also, I'm not exactly sure of the price. They may be a couple of buck cheaper than that. Karen is double checking.
If that isn't the description from Hincapie's website, it should be.... ;-)
Will anyone be out there tomorrow AM?
If you dont mind a slower rider I can ride tomorrow. I rode for the fisrt time last Saturday and covered the group from the rear but still enjoyed myself.
I'm sure everyone is going to be a bit slower tomorrow....
hopefully the wind dies down too.
I'll be at M and Wisconsin 9:20 (ish). Looking forward to it.
Hey, I'll be out there M and Wisk at 9:20 as well.
Im down for a nice ride.
Fun ride today.
Matt? (dude in NCVC Kit...name is fuzzy)
Here is my email, Acotts1517@gmail.com. Feel free to give me a buzz if you want to go on a ride sometime.
Sarah, solid beatdown from Gtown today. Send me an email.
c ya 'round folks.
Well, compared to today's 32, tomorrow will be a balmy 42 degrees! Anyone looking to ride or run or just hanging out on the trainer/treadmill?
