Sarah where/when do you see 42? I see 30s and feels like high 20s :-) I am riding in some capacity tomorrow if there is a group I will join otherwise a nice long trainer ride. And does this mean you intend not to drink tonight??

weather.com says a high of 42...meaning we'd have to wait for a wonderful 11am departure.....excellent.

and Joe, in my personal experience, the best bike rides follow the best friday nights :)

I have not been for a sat ride in a while where will you all be leaving from? If the weather is under 35 then count me out

I'd like to join the Saturday ride, but (like someone else in this e-mail chain), haven't done so in a while. Please post start location and time.

Thanks!

So I had to walk 10 min outside between building, and that experience severely discourages me from riding tomorrow...brrrrrrr

Or, in the spirit of the season you could spend your Saturday roasting your chestnuts by an open fire :-)

I'll be freezing my chestnuts all day tomorrow at the Army/Navy game. Thinking I'll be getting back into the swing of things next week.

I'm meeting a client down at Hains Point around 9 for a ride but should be done shortly after 10 so if you do a late start, I might try to meet up with you. But not if it's too late, I have a call I have to make at 1:00. Or, if anyone wants the bonus pleasure of doing laps around Hains Point on a cold day - maybe with wind too! - you could come find me.

Hey, it should be up to 48 and sunny on Saturday.

Anyone down for a brisk 40 miles or so. Meet at 11 or noon and be done by 2:30 or so.

Yeah I know that really cuts into the day, but it will actually feel warm. Remember that feeling...warm. On a bike. With sunshine.

...yeah, its pretty nice.

lemmyno.

I was planning to ride Saturday. The time sounds good. I may be up for joining you depending on where you're planning to ride.

Looks like I am heading out with some buds from my bike club. I'll be heading out of Dean and Deluca at noon

.on.the.dot.

Feel free to come along. Be prepared to attack on the hills.

ahem * road bikes preferred * cough cough, ahem... [loosens collar uncomfortably]

Sounds like fun at noon.

Separately, another group has formed which will be aiming to meet down the hill from Sibley on MacArthur at 9:30am.

Since many of us are leaving from the Hill, we'll be rolling out right at 8:45 from 8th and Penn SE (get there before) and through G'Town at about 9:05 (rolling up Wisconsin) to meet at MacArthur down the hill from Sibley (last stop light in DC) at 9:30 before continuing out MacArthur for probably ~40-60 miles.

All welcome. Pace is expected to be brisk.

Alright to take advantage of "warmer" weather a group of us is planning on heading out at 11 from Georgetown. The pace will be fast but not planning on hammering.

I will be coming down from Silver Spring with at least two others... 11 am roll through Georgetown. Probably ride to River/Falls Rd. before heading back.
