Courtney - the group ride will be fine for me. I'll see you at 6:45 at wisconsin and M.

Thanks!

Yes, we typically roll on through at Georgetown- albeit slow.
There was a road race a couple weekends ago out in Poolesville and we just went opposite the race. We'll see what happens this weekend.

Yeah, i'm not sure which roads they are totally closing off and which ones will have a lane open. Im sure you'll find a way to have a great long ride either way.

I'll be on the course busting a lung from 8:30 to about 11am. This is one of the biggest regional races of the year, the comp will be stiff.

If you see me, stop and holler!

Oh and if you sit by the corner where River turns into dirt road, you see a real blood bath and see first hand how stupid bike racing is.

Great ride this morning - thank you very much! What a perfect route. I rolled into the bakery right at 9:35 - too bad I missed you all. Thanks again!

I know of few of you on the ride this past weekend were asking about Total 200-- registration just opened yesterday and the site is http://total200.com. Would be great to have you all on the ride.

Anyone up for the sat ride? If so, I'd like to join in...meet at 8am 8th & Penn Ave SE, across from Eastern Market Metro, right?

I'll be leaving Capitol Hill (8th and Pennn SE) at 6:30, passing through Wisconsin and M and then heading out the usual route. Shooting to ride about 5 miles past the Seneca T to make it a round 70 miles.

Nico. I was going to do the Eagleman ride but I think I'll go out with you instead to avoid all the driving. See you at 8th and Penn at 6:30.

So, is there a 6:30 am ride or an 8:00 am ride tomorrow? Leaving from where? Thank you!

Not sure what the normal Saturday crew is doing, but seems to be quite a few DC Tri people going down for the Mt Weather ride on Saturday:

I plan on going to Poolesville at 6:30 leaving the Hill. So ~6:50 through Georgetown. Steady pace with minimal stops. If you want to turn around at the T, that's OK.

Unless other regulars suggest another time, I'll be there.

Saturday ride is on. Leaving uncomfortably early at 6:30 from 8th and Penn. SE and rolling pick up in G-Town at Wisco. and M NW.

Riding out to Poolesville and maybe beyond for the adventurous crew.

6:30am to Sugarloaf...knuff said...

It isn't MacArthur specifically, but it is part of the route if that works ;)

A bunch of us are going out to Deep Creek lake and doing some "hills". Not sure who is riding locally but there must be some people staying in town. Have fun and stay hydrated.

"Hills" with you guys sounds painful. I'll show up at the G'town location in the bank parking lot at 6:45 and go solo if nobody shows.

Is there a ride planned for this Saturday? I'd love to check it out. I've read the posts at the beginning of this thread but it seems like people like to switch up the start times/routes occasionally so any info on the plan for this Saturday, 7/17, would be much appreciated. Gracias.
