If you view "notes" in this link it will give you a cue sheet. If you are coming from G town, then the route is good to go. If you are coming from Cap Hill the only weird spot not noted on the cue sheet, but is on the map, is when you go up RCP and circle around to Whitehurst then drop through onto Water Street "under" the K St. Bridge and to Wisconsin Ave. That is on the way out. Everything else is good to go.

I'll be there, but I may drop off the back if I can't keep up, and I also may ride shorter.

OK, so there's no longer the heat excuse for starting early, and I'm fed up with a 6 am Saturday alarm (that I've been hitting snooze on anyways).

7:30 Cap Hill roll out to the T or Poolsville sound good to anyone?

I wont be able to make it Saturday, as I have a massive MTB adventure planned.

However, I will be doing a no drop Sunday ride out of GTown at 7am on Sunday if folks are interested. Prolly try to do like 40-45 miles and keeping the pace to around 18 or so.

feel free to email me if you want to come along. Everyone is invited:

did I just hijack your post, Sarah? Sorry 'bout that.

Sarah, as I remember it, you have no right to complain seeing as you have NEVER showed up to ANY of the Sat rides that left that early.

I believe you are 0-10, so maybe we should do 6:30 to see if you can break into the 0-11...

Watch out for those 'restoring honor' and 'reclaiming the dream'...I'm escaping to E. Furnace for some mtb action.

Don't worry Joe...you suffered enough humiliation last weekend.

Mr. Coyne has been known in the past to wear women's clothing. At races even. Perhaps that was just a presage of things to come. :)

Ed as of when does racing in pink tri shorts and wearing a fabulous tiara equate to wearing women's clothing?

Swigart for Club president!

Unfortunately I'm out for riding this Saturday. If anyone is interested in going a little later in the day on Sunday, I'm in. Have plans in the morning but would like an easy trip to Great Falls early afternoon.

it cant be too much worse than the official DC-Tri race skin suits.

Whats with the blue bikini bottoms w/ matching thong strap? I know good taste has never been the strong suit in this sport, but the new getup is kinda troubling.

Thanks for the support, Travis!

The typical early-bird culprits are conspicuously silent...

Looking forward to some good miles tomorrow. All Timberman participants have a "Draft for Free" card.

To be fair to Joe, hasn't Kirsten at times bested Chad in race rankings?

(Chad in hose and ruffles--the horror.) :)

I am not silent...most of the others are out of town :)

Kirsten only beat me once...and that was the weekend after Timberman. Although she always does beat me on the swim, so Joe, you really have no excuse :)
