I'll be going out just for 25-30 miles to be back by 9, if anyone else is interested

I think the vertical swimmer (aka Vietnamese Royalty) will be posting info about the Sunday ride sometime today.

Those rides begin at 7am in the bank parking lot at the corner of Wisconsin and M St in Georgetown.

I'm contemplating a ride out at Mt. Weather this weekend if anyone is interested in that. I'm waiting for my pace line (Mr. and Mrs. Krasney) to get back to me and let me know if they are interested.

Is anyone else interested in it? It's a beautiful ride. It's challenging but not terrible.

I recommend Mt. Weather repeats Travis...they are extremely enjoyable...

Looks like we are getting a good group together to hit up Mountain Mama this saturday for a ride...some recent Ironmen are being even more Iron and coming with...

Travis, Mr. Kraz mentioned this on the way into the office this morning. Mt. Weather sounds great for Saturday.

I could see myself doing poolesville and back.

I need to be home by noonish.

What time do you plan to leave from GTown?

any 15-16mph riders doing the Saturday ride? I got smoked last time I attempted to ride with the group- still fun to start with everyone, but wondering if there is anyone more my pace attending?

I may do the Sat ride for a while, and it would be at a slow pace.

Chad - I'm taking a pass on the Ironman-esque drive to WV. Will make sure to get in at least one repeat of Mt. Weather in your honor though. Travis - we're in.

What time are you planning to start Mt. Weather. It'd be fun ride, though it might be a little painful following the NTP happy hour :)

I think both the Mama and Mt Weather rides are great options- BUT I will be riding locally due to time constraints... and will CERTAINLY BE BACK BY NOON. So I'm planning on leaving Cap Hill 7a/G-town 7.30a. Sounds like we have a few people lined up and doing about 56 miles, possibly more if we get the interest. See ya out there.

I was really bummed to miss the Mt. Weather ride last weekend (since it sounds like it was a great ride), but I'm going to stick in DC this weekend. I'm hoping to do about 50ish with a 25 min interval (DC line somewhere on River Road?) worked in and then easy pedal back. Anyone up for that?

I'll be in the 7AM group leaving from 8th and Penn SE

Travis, are you planning Mt. Weather for Saturday or Sunday?

I was thinking Sat. but I'm flexible. I need to talk to Toby and Ben some more, too.

Do you have a preference?

no preference - just curious. I could make either work, but I'm still on the fence.

This will be my first time doing the Mt. Weather ride. Is there a place where we meet Saturday morning? I'm considered a "back of the pack" rider but am looking forward to riding a new course.

Hi Natalie,

The VDOT (Commuter) carpark on Frost St Marshall is where you can find the group.

Last week the ride started at 8.15 but I haven't seen a time this week yet.

There's a new thread for the Mt. Weather ride Here »

Let's use that thread for info so that it doesn't get confused with the regular Sat. ride on this one.
