If you don't own this book already, you should. As Ed noted, it's an entertaining and informative account of the history of our country that covers every topic you can think of. One of the things I particularly enjoyed as a newer DC area resident was the periodic references to the numerous landmarks, museums, artifacts and events that have taken place in the DC area.
