Recommended bike fitter
POSTED: 1/26/11 1:13 PM

Hello all,

I am new to the forum. I searched this forum and found a few topics on bike fitters in the Northern VA area. but posts were over a year old.

Wondering what's a good place in the local area to get a good tri bike fit that's not going to break the bank.

I am new to Tri bikes and in the past have had no problems with just doing the entry level fits on all my previous road bikes.

Is it worth doing level 2, level 3 fits?

Thanks for all the help!

xtrm2008,

I recently had a bike fit done by Clovis at Conte's in Arlington. I purchased the 3D fit and it was well worth the investment. He spent time learning about my background and goals and we went through a series of assessments to help fit the bike to my body and riding style. The process takes about 2 hours and includes a full report with your measurements. It also includes follow ups if you need them. Clovis was very helpful and knowledgeable and I'd definitely recommend him and that bike shop.

Ryan
