Planning to be there. Thanks to all of you who have kept this thread going while I've been MIA with not enough time to train.

see you bright and early.

I'll be out there tomorrow, if the weather cooperates - stop sign @ 6:30a.

Planning on a 3 x 10min interval with about 5 minute rest in between, so should be on for the gate to the turn around near the Lincoln and off from there back to the gate,

Also doing a 30 min run off the bike, so hope to see some of you back out there.

Just a heads up that we are having our fall time trial series beginning next week. We scheduled these so they don't interfere with our club HHs. Below is the schedule as planned.

Thurs. Sept. 22nd 6:30 PM
Thurs. Sept. 29th 6:30 AM
Thurs. Oct. 13th 6:30 PM (tentative date/time)

We will meet at the golf course parking lot. Email me to sign up or with any questions - racedirector at dctriclub.org

Hugh, not sure if you looked at sunrise/set times when setting that, but sunset on Oct 13th is 6:33pm. May want to move that one up 30 or 45 minutes if you can make it after work.

Thanks, Brian. Above, I made an adjustment on the date/time. I'll have to see how long it takes me to get there from Annapolis.

Anyone planning on riding tomorrow? I know it looks like rain, but I am considering still heading out, really do not want to get on the trainer.

Scott - I'm planning on being out there (6:30A @ the stop sign), but going to re-evaluate in the AM. Just looked at the radar and it's not looking too good.

Since I'm racing this weekend and not doing the TT tomorrow, I'm planning on riding in the AM unless it's a heavy down pour if anybody's interested, especially after reading 9 Tips for Training in the Rain.

Here's my plan...
45 min ride w/ 5 or 6 - 1 mile intervals (short lap, crosswalk to the line)
20 min tempo run

Hope to see a few of you out there again...

The weather forecast for tomorrow evening is about 30-40 % chance of t-showers. I'm still planning on be at the golf course around 6:15pm barring traffic. After the TT, I plan to head out for a run downtown.

I'm doing the TT tomorrow.

I think I'm ready to personally call the outdoor morning rides for the year and hit the trainer a bit. With the end of the race season on the horizon, I just don't have the motivation to start riding an hour before sunrise.

Good luck at the race this weekend.

I'll be out there tomorrow, 6:30a @ the stop sign, though I'm guessing I may be the only one. This will probably be my last week out there until the Spring. I'm planning to continue riding until the temps dip below 40, but in No. Arlington off Military if anyone else is interested, let me know and we can coordinate.

Tomorrow planning on something like this:
10 min warm up (short lap)
15 min Z3/4 interval (~2 short)
5 min Z2
3 x-walk to line sprints

30 min tempo run with a few 1 min intervals worked in (~14th Street-Mem bridge loop).

Hope at least a few of you out there.

Man, no faith in me showing up, Brady? I will continue riding Tu/Thu morning until the end of October, then am planning on disappearing from the early morning work out scene for a while.

I am planning on riding tomorrow morning, given the reasonable temps and the fact that it will now be semi light out at 6:30. If anyone wants to join let me know. Not going to be doing anything too crazy, just trying to get out for a bit.

I think I am going to get out again tomorrow morning. Tuesday was really nice, it looks like tomorrow morning shouldn't be bad. Let me know if you want to ride, 6:30 at the stop sign

Scott, I'll be out there again (if it's not raining). What stop sign - pool parking lot or corner near tennis courts?
