I plan to make it out tomorrow. I'm shooting for an early ~0600 warmup start, but guessing it may be 0615, so that I can get my run in.

I'll plan to meet the group at 0630 at the stop sign.

Open to suggestions, but was thinking 5 gate-to-gate z4 efforts @25mph'ish, recovery through the stop signs.

Sounds good. I'm in. Have to head back early so will probably be at the stop sign at 5:30 if anyone's in. Can make a point to be at stop sign at a time after that if people want to meet up

Did an easy spin around the point... all was flooded and we got kicked out. Not sure how that bodes for the AM...

Good seeing a lot of familiar faces back out there this morning (myself included)!

I plan to continue to make it out on Thursdays, but with Placid on my schedule I've got hill work in Arlington on Tuesday mornings.

Yes, I know there's the Fresh Bikes Tuesday Night BBQ hill rides, but I prefer mornings with less crowding and cars. I'll probably start a separate post if there's enough interest from others.

Grayson's with his grandparents tonight, so I'm free for some riding in the morning too. Hopefully for some intervals of some kind. I'll be out at the stop sign at 6:30.

Wow, that was quite a crew out there. Several groups doing different workouts.

I hope this is the trend we'll be seeing for the rest of the summer!

I'm committing myself to tomorrow morning. If I don't make it, I have no excuse other than I was too lazy to get out of bed.

@Travis - I better see you out there out there tomorrow!

I'm coming off the Quassy half yesterday, so more than likely I'll be sucking wheel tomorrow.

Since we've been getting an upwards of 30 out to the rides, we'll plan to potentially spit up into smaller groups if need be.

Below is the proposed workout by Craig and more details on splitting up the group for safety and so that everybody gets a workout....

========================================================
Tomorrow morning I plan to do 4 (or maybe 5) long loops to the circle at Constitution (8 min efforts). I'm going to try to hold an even pace for all of them...and definitely not going to pick it up at the end of each one. My intent is to lock onto a pace and hold it. It will probably be in the neighborhood of 27 mph. I plan to really back down and recover after each interval.

Judging on how many folks showed up last week, I propose doing this in 2 or even 3 groups. Faster group launches first, then the 2nd group goes, etc. It will be safer, and everyone will get a better workout since there will be less time sitting on someone else's wheel. Slot into whichever group you think you can hang with.

Speaking of hanging...if you don't have the legs to take a turn on the front, there's no shame in hanging at the back for the entire ride. Just ease off to create a gap for folks to slot back into as they fade back from each of their turns at the front.

Workout for tomorrow...

For tomorrow's ride:
-8 x short loops (5 min efforts)
-descend loops in sets of 2
-maximum easy recovery - add short loop on marina side to extend our recovery a few minutes

Let's try to do these in at least 2 groups.
