Sure was lonely out there this morning with only about 4-5 of us...is tri season over already? Where is everyone at?
Tues/Thurs are great speed work...just sayin...
No joke- I thought I went down on the wrong morning. Actually rolled out with 3 people (including myself) before we picked up a few more as we rolled around. It was also rather cool this morning which makes it great for hyperventilating in zone 6. Of course we all slowed down to re-group. Would be great to see more wheels out there.
yeah good ride today guys, glad I was able to find a bike without a cracked frame to come join in the fun! But man 2 weeks off from HP, I was feeling it today when we hit 27+ and didn't let down! Any good rides this weekend?
I think we had to slow down Eric...otherwise all of us would have had a heart attack... :p

I was jogging this morning and saw someone with a disk wheel. Who was that ? I'm thinking that somebody is either cheating or asking a Vietnamese to mug him.

So I pull for three laps and nobody tells me I had a rear flat? ;) Luckily the rim didn't rub through the tire and it wasn't totally flat- but just about. Good ride all- see ya out there.

Yeah -- knowing you had a flat doesn't do too much for my confidence. At one point I looked down and was doing 27mph and the group was about 100 yards in front of me and pulling away.
Good workout this morning - we kept a good solid steady effort at about 24mph avg for just over an hour! Who's planning to go out Thursday? Any ideas: Hour of power? 10 min intervals? Sprints?
Nice job pulling the entire time. You know, we just want to make sure you get in enough hard efforts so you can catch up with the rest of us. Looks like that's working!
Here's what I have on my schedule for Thursday--kinda like a power half-hour:
1:30 z2 with 2x15mins at z5 and cadence ~70.
Last week, 12 mins was about 1 full long loop, so I'm guessing this would be about 2-2.5 short loops each with a nice rest in between.
Eric, you crushed it this morning. Thanks for making sure I was still in zone 5 even when I dropped off the front.
I need to get healthy again because missing two weeks is killing me right now. Hopefully I will be out there next week.
Good work everyone.. I was telling Kip, I think Patrick likes to start hot and hold on and I like to warm up and end hot-- great combo for a great workout: start hot and end hot! Doh. Good intervals though- I got 25.5 for the first 15min and 25.6 for the second 15min (gate was open second 15 right?). Solid. We also warmed up for a long loop at about 22.5. You all are making me work! I love it.
Would be great to get you back down there Joe. Maybe Bobby can stop lapping us and ride with? Chad, Marc, Andy, Phil, everyone else - see you out there.
I have 3 more races to get ready for this year and I figured drafting off patrick and Eric every Tues and Thurs would not help me get ready...
