If anyone is interested in doing a Century Ride (103 miles) I'd highly recommend this one. The aid stations are well stocked and often. The course takes you through multiple Civil War Battlegrounds and is very beautiful.
Registration cost is $35, and is limited to 1600 riders. This ride sells out every year so definitely register early.
It's the day before the Nation's Triathlon so if you're not racing Nations, you can still do the century and volunteer on Sunday!
In, with at least five others.
I'm in...for now. 1-2 versus those hills.
I'm in. going to try to convince others.
I'm in for either the 50 or the 63! This ride is always a blast--I love the tomato sandwiches at the aid station and the ice cream and bluegrass at the finish!
I could get into this.. Will look into it.
Registration has opened, for what some consider the most scenic long ride in the area.
Ride is sold out but I'm doing Nations the following day so I have an entry to transfer, at cost, to the first one to private message me. Click on my username.
Already got the ok from the organizers that this is legit.
I took Adam's entry and can't wait!!!
In... sounds like fun!
Anyone else have a spot they want to transfer?! Just saw this and I really want to do it.
Hi all --
Looking forward to the ride this weekend! What are folks doing as far as getting out there, anyone have space for girl + friendly bike?
I am doing the century and plan to start with the first wave at 7am. Have space for one if needed...
I have space for a person and a bike if someone wishes to ride along with me. I am in Tysons Corner.
Get in touch..
