Tri bike comparison
POSTED: 6/26/11 10:38 PM

Just curious about the thoughts of the members here on two tri bikes: Trek Speed Concept 7.5 vs. Specialized transition Pro?

Thanks!

They are both great bikes that are pretty similar in fit (looks like a Medium Speed Concept is very close to the the same dimensions as a Large Transition). Personally I'd probably lean towards the Trek, only because the Transition frame is now getting a bit older and the Trek is a new one. It's still a very aero frame though.

The decision probably comes down to how they feel on test rides, what the components are, and what the relative prices are. But again, can't go wrong with those two choices!

Go for the Cervelo P2 instead! It's a great ride, and the best bang for your buck!
