MORE SLOTS for PeasantMan Triathlon
POSTED: 5/06/10 8:46 AM

Lowly Peasants,

After reading the PeasantMan Manifesto last night, I've decided that the PeasantMan gospel needs to be spread out more. I'm opening up 5 additional slots for PeasantMan. These are very coveted spots. The regular community slots allow you to rack your bike next to mine. These new **Community Plus** slots will allow you to touch my bike (one hand only please).

To get these Community Plus slots you have to do the following:
1. Volunteer at the May 15th Duathlon. There is a free picnic BBQ after the race so you will be well fed. Hugh still needs a lot more volunteers so not only will you be helping out to support fellow triathletes but he will remember you when you want to get into other events in the summer when it sells out.

2. Post your name and email address on this forum or send me an offline email at number55555@yahoo.com. I will coordinate with Hugh (dualthlon coordinator) to ensure that he knows that you are coming. He will give you more details on volunteering for the event.

3. Pay the $25 for Community Plus Slots. For the $25, you will get all of the privileges of the regular Community slot (i.e., free tech T-shirt, etc). I will contact you offline as to the payment method

4. If you can't volunteer at the May duathlon, there will be a practice tri out of Haines Point in June that you can volunteer for. I'll give you the Community Plus slot if you wish to do the June event instead.

If you have already signed up for PeasantMan, you can still volunteer at the duathlon and give the Community Plus slot to a friend. Guys ... Georgetown Cupcake will be providing free cupcakes at PeasantMan. There are not many times in life when you get to sit down and share a free cupcake with the future King of Vietnam. The Community Plus plan is your last chance. Only 5 slots remain.

If you haven't got a slot yet, get it now or you will be staring a lot of water buffalo asses come event day and wondering what could have been.

PeasantMan Triathlon is now closed
POSTED: 5/06/10 9:47 PM

This is now closed.

There are no more $5 slots.

There are no more Community Slots

There are no more Community Plus Slots.

There won't be any Community Plus Plus slots ... because that would be weird.

Thanks for playing everyone. If anyone is around the Cayman Islands on the 25th of July, look me up. I'll be there on some beach.

Tuan
I don't have any small children to offer as help, but I am a small adult if you are taking volunteers.

Bryan ... You are telling me. WTF? Did someone put my email address on a Vietnamese porn site again? WTF? ;)

Thanks for the love everyone.

Gold000000, Alice beat you on on the MCM bib. Sorry. However, I **may** be able to get you a MCM bib via High Cloud at cost ($95). Drop me an email offline and I'll see what I can do to take care of the Peasant population.

Alice, congrats on winning the MCM bib. I will contact you offline shortly about the bib. What is your last name? I have a few Alice on my distro list. I don't want to send it to the wrong person.

Wombat ... remind me at the DSG run and I'll give you the swim cap.

Abby, Steve, Francy ... thank you for loving the Royal family unconditionally ;)
