This is my first post on here and something tells me that I am not doing this correctly...

Anyway, I am racing the sprint distance of Xterra Richmond this Sunday. Is anyone else from the club going? If yes, would you like a ride? I have two extra spaces on my bike rack and can certainly use the conversation to keep me awake at the ungodly hour that I will have to drive down there at.

The sprint race starts at 10:30am this year...which means you could leave DC by 7am with enough time to spare.

I was planning to do the championship race, but busted my knee last weekend and have to bail.

Have fun - Richmond is a great course.

Exactly. 7am = ungodly on a Sunday.

Any tips for the bike section? I have not ridden down that way yet.

You sound like a mountain biker!

Most of the mtb course is fast and flowy, but there are a few quick tech sections that will have you off the bike if you aren't ready for them.

You can "pre-ride" most of the course here: http://www.terrain360.com

Politely unsubscribing. Thanks (and good luck)!

Or like a Californian? ;-)

That website is ah-maaaz-ing! I had no idea that such a thing even existed.

Good luck Sunday Hunter and Andy, hope you heal up quickly!
Still thinking of doing EX2 Rocky Gap 7/15... http://www.ex2adventures.com/offroad-triathlon.php

I will probably sign up for Rocky Gap if this weekend is not overly embarrassing and/or terrifying.
