We did that on purpose so we could show the error correcting capability and the speed of the website at last night's Board meeting.
....not really.
It's fixed.

This is a brick, and then a picnic, I assume?

Thanks,

Yup, you got it, Kevin. Get in a great workout and eat a burger...all before 10am.

Is there a cost for the brick-nic and if so, what is it?

Thanks

There is no cost for the brick-nic other than that you must be a DC Tri paid member to participate. The event will consist of biking the Columbia tri bike course, running all or part of the run course, then a picnic. Due to pavilion hours, we can't BBQ til 10 AM. So the event will start sometime to account for that. We'll have more info on it, say, early April.

Wonderful! Thanks for the info. Looking forward to it! Sounds like great preparation for the Washington DC Triathlon as well.

DAMN!!!! I just signed up for the insanely demented Tough Mudder Race. Which was design by British Special Forces, so you know I have to go and try it. Well you all have fun, I will be jumping in damn near freezing water while running my butt off.

Mark - you can have two burgers when you're done.

So which day is the Bricnic? May 1 or 2? And how did you all find out about it? Is there a centralized calendar or something on the website with this type of info? I always have a lot of trouble navigating the DC Tri website.

Thanks!!!

Delnora

The bricnic is posted on the "buzz" section of the front page. Just scroll down to the announcement. It's the third one down as of this posting. It says:
"Columbia Brick-Nic date set
Mark your calendars for the annual club Columbia Brick-Nic. Sunday, 2 May 2010, 10 AM. Pavilion D, Centennial Park. More details to follow. READ MORE »"
Click on the Read More link to Read More about it.
It is also posted as an "event". On the front page, look at the Events section. Click on the "calendar view" link and go to 2 May and you'll see it.
Lastly, there was a blurb about it in this week's club email. It said, "Also, be sure to mark your calendars for the Columbia Brick-Nic on Sunday, May 2. You won't want to miss it!".
Once again, the bricnic is on Sunday, May 2.
