Good luck to James Wilson and the many other area athletes doing IM Cozumel today, Nov. 27!

Thanks guys, I had a great time in Cozumel. I highly recommend the race to anyone looking for a nice destination race, or a laid back atmosphere for a first timer.

I read that a lot of people struggled and dropped out, but I didn't think it was that bad.

The swim is just amazing! Crystal clear water, very wide area to swim in at the start kept the field spread out, and 84 degrees in the Ocean.

The bike course is beautiful, can be very windy in parts, and a little crowded.

The run is very well supported by the residents as well as the tourists, even when it was pouring down rain.

I concur with James! The people of Cozumel were amazing, I felt like a rockstar out there with everyone cheering me on. Like Lance Armstrong, but slower, and with less (alleged) drugs.

Also of interest, they are replacing 70.3 Cancun with 70.3 Cozumel next year.
