Description: Join Sports + Spinal Physical Therapy (SSPT) for our Newton Natural Running workshop. Learn about the science behind the Newton Running Shoe and how a natural running form can help you improve your performance.
Workshop topics include:
- The technology of the Newton Running Shoe
- The fundamentals of running biomechanics
- The elements of natural running form
- Different running techniques (e.g. Chi Running)
- Drills and exercises to help you develop a natural form
After the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to "test drive" a pair of Newton Running Shoes.
Instructors: Doug Bertram, Newton Biomechanics Expert and Certified Natural Running Coach. Doug will be supported by Dr. Robert Gillanders, DPT. Dr. Gillanders is an experienced marathoner and Director of SSPT's Running Performance Programs.
This event will be followed by a group run, so please wear your running gear!
