Who else is in? A few of us members went last year & had a good time. If anybody needs advice on stuff around PR, race info, etc, I'll be happy to help as I grew up in San Juan.

I'm thinking about it. Hotels are pretty pricey at $195/night though.

Agreed. Hotels listed in the official website are on the high end. There's another event down there in Jan. and they do provide a bigger range in hotel choices/prices. This comes straight from their site ~$100/night. Hotel Casablanca in Old San Juan & San Juan Beach Hotel in Condado. Both are 15-20 mins walk to transition. If there are other folks, renting an apt via VRBO in Condado or Old San Juan would be good choices. For those considering the host hotels, the Caribe Hilton is probably the best in terms of location & amenities.

In....and looking forward to it!

Little worried about the run elevation profile though!

I am bringing the family and staying at the Marriott.

I am in here is my race report from last year with pics

My advice is if you are going just to do the race and that's it stay at one of the host hotels and don't rent a car. If you plan to stay after the race to check out the Island rent a car and stay on a less pricey hotel. This Hotel is a good option and is a 7 minute walk to transition http://www.miramarhotelpr.com/

As jorlie said if you have any question let us know
