I don't know if the cyclists and passersby who assisted me yesterday (at Pendleton and Fairfax in Old Town after an SUV hit me on my bike) are members of DC Tri or could somehow learn about this message, but I want to thank these strangers for helping me in my time of need. I believe two of the women were named Donna and Erin, but I am having a hard time recalling everyone's names. There were a few men (one doctor) as well helping. I am so grateful that you all handled the situation with such confidence and calm. I've been released from the emergency room with just a cerival neck sprain and a contusion. I consider myself very fortunate. I hope my thanks for the assistance is somehow known by these great samaritans.
That sounds pretty scary. Glad to hear that your injuries weren't more serious.
