Hi:

I'm looking to ride 80-90 miles on Saturday, 5/2. I'd like to ride in moderately flat area with a few hills, not Seneca/Potomac/or Pooleseville -- somewhere else. Anyone up for a 80-90 mile ride? Avg pace around 17 mph.

Lisa,

STEP AWAY FROM THE RED BULL...lol. I am actually going to be out of town this weekend, but will be up for the next go around.

Now we're talking! I'd be up for riding 80-90 at 17-19 mph. Count me in.

I'm heading out to Cambridge for a century ride. Planning to leave the DC area by 5:30am-ish. They also have 37 and 56 (the Eagleman course). I think they still have registration open. Here is the site.

I'd be interested in an 80-90 mile ride on Sat. at about 17 mph, but the wheels down or DC area departure time would have to be 9:30 a.m. or later for me.

Hugh,

What pace are you riding? If it's between 17-19, I may sign up. Sounds like a well organized ride.

Pace? Anywhere between fast and slow. Just kidding because I don't have a bike computer yet. May be a good time to get one.

I was thinking of doing a Potomac Pedaler's ride called Calvert County Base Builder starting 2 miles east of Upper Marlboro @ 9:00 am. It heads south toward Prince Frederick via Croom and the Patuxent River Bridge at Benedict or via Chesapeake Beach and Breezy Point. The Chesapeake Beach/Breezy Point area has a nice boardwalk area where we can stop for a break.

Cambridge MD is kind of far from DC. But, it's great for all the Eagleman/IMFL people.
