Please add me to the list for the distance Sunday rides. I'm coming from upper Wisconsin so I'll meet you M/Wisconsin or Reservoir/Wisconsin.
This ride is a great ride from all the reviews. Just watch out of Tuan, he is Vietnamese Royalty and a literary crack up with his ride reports. He has put a good group together. I plan on getting my butt out there now that all my commitments are done until IM Florida.
Please add me as well. email@example.com
Not sure I'm ready for centuries yet, but half that would be good.
some of us back of the packers were talking about food last go round (anything to take our minds off the hills)... I was curious if anyone is game to meet up at Mancini's post ride this Sunday for brunch.
I checked and they serve breakfast til 2. Assuming no cue sheet malfunctions (love ya, Tuan) - I'm hoping we could get there in time. I've been to Mancini's post race many times, so I'd say showering first is optional... Shall we say meet at 1:15? Estimating an average pace of 15mph (a 5.5 hour ride with 45 minutes thrown in for rest stops and driving time), that should work - if you want to shower, well, I guess that's incentive to ride faster. :-)
If you haven't been, Mancini's is in Del Ray at the corner of Mt. Vernon and Monroe. And it's yummy!
What d'ya think?
Add me to the list. I'll be in Fiji for a couple of weeks (and missing the NJ tri, but hey, it's Fiji). I'll want to ride when I return.
I hope to be there tomorrow. See you all in Gtown.

I just joined DCTri and have yet to participate in an a group ride, this sounds fun! I'm not sure I'm in for a whole century but half of that would be great. Please add me to the distribution list.
This sounds great! Please add me to the list- firstname.lastname@example.org , possibly in for the century but for sure in for none/some/all of the Sunday rides ;)
Thanks for the add!
Please add me to the list: email@example.com. I'd love to join you guys!

I am not sure I can make the Saturday AM hammerfest this week so I think I may give this a try on Sunday. Does anyone roll out from the Hill?
I'm interested...please add me.... firstname.lastname@example.org

Is this ride still on? cheers
Sadly, the illustrious leader, Vietnamese Royalty and Vertical Swimmer Tuan was injured in an accident earlier this week. I don't know what impact this will have on rides. Perhaps as peasants to his royal self we will still have the rides but pulling him up the hills will become far more literal as we will need to take turns attaching his chariot to our bikes.
please add me to list. nbediamola at yahoo
Since our fearless leader is still recovering... I thought I'd throw this out there as a possibility. I hope I'm a suitable replacement for vertical swimming royalty.
I haven't ridden in a month (since my failed attempt to fly at the brick-nic) and I'd really like to go back to Beach Drive to conquer my demons and spit in the storm drain that f'ed up my shoulder before my bike finds its way onto my trainer for the winter.
I know doing loops isn't terribly exciting but at least this way folks can ride as many or as few as they'd like.
I'd be game to meet in the 7:30-8am range. I'd like to ride 50 miles but not having done much of anything for the last month because it hurt to move my arm, I have no idea what I'll actually do.
let me know (if you want to send me your email I'll send a private email on Friday or Saturday to finalize the plan).
There's no substitute for Royalty. Even the mention of such is a treasonable offense.
While His Highness is recovering, however, one supposes it is acceptable for peasants and peons to offer alternative rides.
I'd love to get on the list as well if you're still riding-- ericamprice at gmail. And Joe, I'll leave from the hill with you as long as you promise not to drop me before we get to Penn...
