DESCRIPTION:Join for a Georgetown Block Party after the Sat ride on October 17! We’ll be partnering with Trek and Bicycle Pro Shop at the top of Key Bridge and Pacers Running and Rose Physical Therapy (at Pacers) on Wisconsin Ave to have refreshments and more after the Sat ride. \nParticipating businesses: \n\nTrek Bicycle\, 3411 M St NW\nBicycle Pro Shop\, 3403 M St NW\nPacers Running\, 1079 Wisconsin Ave N.\nRose Physical Therapy at Pacers Running\, 1079 Wisconsin Ave N.\n\nFor the Sat ride\, note that the shorter ride will be starting later. Please see the Sat ride group for routes and updates. \n\n8:30 AM if you would like to ride the usual 29 mile route\n7:30 AM if you would like to ride longer\n\nWe will have some special discounts including: \n– 15% off all full price merchandise excluding electronics at Pacers \nAnd raffle prizes from Bicycle Pro Shop and Trek \nRose PT will be upstairs at Pacer’s Running from 11 AM – 1 PM offering free 10 minute injury screenings: first-come-first-serve – no registration needed. \nSwing by with any niggles that may be getting you down! Rose will also have a few give-aways. \nThere will be raffle tickets at each store. Stop by each store to earn more chances to win! The drawing will be sometime between 12 – 12:30 PM starting from Trek and you must be present in order to win. \nLooking to volunteer? You can help\n– setup at the stores between 10 – 11 AM\n– greet people at Pacers between 11 AM – 12 PM\n– take photos during the event\n– watch bikes

SUMMARY:2026 Fall Foliage Ride - hosted by the DCTriClub Elite Team
DESCRIPTION:The 14th annual Fall Foliage Ride! \nThe DC Tri Club Elite Team invite you to join on a leisurely ride to take in the fall foliage along the roads of Montgomery County! \nThe ride will be an easy-ish 40ish miles with stops along the way for apple pie and apple cider\, coffee and lattes\, and a winery for wine tastings or bottles of goodness. If there is any energy or interest left at the end of the day\, we can go grab brunch after the winery. \nThis ride is open to all club members and friends/family who want to join. Please keep in mind: this is a fun\, leisure ride. There are no sprint stages\, no KOMs\, etc. We will move at a leisurely-ish pace (though please remember that everyone’s leisurely pace is different!)\, so if you have to get back at a certain time\, you might need to move on from the group at some point. \nThere is no cost to this ride as it’s really just a group of us getting together to ride and have fun. We are stopping at an orchard\, a coffee shop\, and a winery. We encourage carpooling and ride sharing to cut down on car emissions (and we encourage carpool singalongs while sharing rides together!).
