But more seriously, if you ever get a chance to volunteer at a kids triathlon, do it. It is the most fun thing that you will do in triathlon and will refresh your love of the sport.

Also, while the article perhaps takes a more conservative than necessary attitude toward triathlon, the comments about kids and distances/training, etc. are important. Kids shouldn't be trying the longer distances and they should be having fun and be careful about overtraining.
