Travis - if there's no objections, can we update to the 8:00-Hill/8:30-G'town start times for winter?
Brady, you mean 810 Hill / 830 G'town.
Travis, feel free to edit your first post to mimic the weekly ride blurb so it doesn't need to be edited in the future if you want.
This ride typically leaves at 7:10/8:10 AM (summer/winter) from 8th and Penn SE with a pickup in Georgetown behind the bank at Wisco and M NW at 7:30/8:30 AM (summer/winter). Rides meet on a week-to-week basis - follow the forum posting to determine if a ride is happening this weekend."
Cold or not, hope to see at least a few of you in Gtown at 8:30.
I'll update the thread now. I'm lining up for a trail run tomorrow. Finishing it might be another story. I'm done racing after tomorrow so hope to be more regular on the Saturday rides. I'm planning to be out there in the cold this winter so I'm sure I'll see those of you that aren't doing the spin class.
Anyone braving the cold tomorrow?
I'll be out there. It will be the first appearance of the season for my moonboots.
Think I'm going to hit the spin bike and lift at the gym instead! Hopefully next week will be better.
Tried missing the ride today and riding solo later in the a.m. Meh. Will be there next Saturday absent ice on roads.
Anybody riding tomorrow?
Can't go out tomorrow after all...
I plan on taking advantage of the slightly warmer temps tomorrow, riding from the Hill. Hope to see others out there.
My husband Dave and I plan to join; he's just getting back to riding after a few months off, so we may be slower than the group. We'll do what we can to keep up! - Ann B-E
Looking forward for my first ride with the you all. Although I may be a bit slow, I will try to keep up my pace.
Hoping to see you all there!
Sorry, all, Dave and I won't be there in the AM after all. Stay warm! Annie B-È
If anyone is interested in riding tomorrow, plan is to meet up at 10am in Georgetown, PNC bank lot.
Thinking roughly 30 miles at a fairly easy pace.
Meeting my friend Richard tomorrow, Sunday, at key bridge Marriott at 1230. Three appears to be a slightly lower chance of rain then.
All are welcome to join. See you there and then.
I'm in! Road bike or Ladybug ... that's the current dilemma ...
Where did Adam get his crystal ball?: Forecast for today is now little or no rain and temps in the 60s.
Rain is gone but the roads are still quite wet. Be careful out there.
