Not this weekend bc of TriMania. Speaking of, the club and the Expo need volunteers, so please come on by after your ride (or earlier if you don't ride/do the trainer ;) !
Sorry for starting a separate threat. Please don't use the other thread, use this one instead which I have just renamed to 2015.
I can't ride this week but should be out a lot more often this year. Less MTBing on the calendar. I'll follow along and edit the start times as they are decided upon.
Testing to see if the header has changed to 2015...
It doesn't change. I'd just suggest starting a new thread.
It has changed in the past (this thread has been going since 2011 and the title has changed) which is why we were trying it out and seeing how we can change it.
Anyways, Saturday should be a nice day to ride, although I also highly recommend checking out TriMania at American Univeristy and signing up to volunteer if you have some time! More info about TriMania here. Sign up to volunteer here !
Travis is helping, he seems to think it will change. Nice thing about this thread is lots of people are already subscribed to it.
All you had to do was ask. I changed the thread title.
Dang ... Pablo got his wife to come on here to defend his honor.
Also glad to see Travis making his wife watch the baby for 10 hours every Saturday while he rides "more often" with his buddies this year.
Anyway ... anyone doing PeasantMan?
Utterly Shameless Plug --->>PeasantMan Registration URL
I heard that Tuan guy only rides on Sundays. At least I hope that's true... he sounds vulgar.
Saturday = day of the Peasants
My mamma didn't raise me to ride with peasants.
I need to do long ride as well this Sunday.
I am a slow 15miles/h average with crappy training wheels so I don't want to hold people.
What are the distances and average speeds?
I spoke too soon. Roads might still be slick on Saturday morning after tomorrow's expected mess. I'm out for this week -- hopefully next week will be better!
I'm planning to ride for 2 hours @ 2PM, leaving from the Tri-Mania parking garage. Heading towards MacArthur and following Saturday group ride route from there on. Not sure how fast I'll go since it's my first time out this season, but I used to hang with B+ group.
Anyone want to join me riding outside tomorrow? I plan to start at 11am.
With the later start, I'd like to start/end at Clara Barton just off MacArthur.
I could be persuaded to start/end at The Lab School, MacArthur & Reservoir, if ppl are in.
Short run after if up for it.
Looking to go about 45-50 mi.
