I am probably in to the T too. Prefer the 7:40/8 am start.
Oh, thank god. Crisis averted.
Looks like popular vote is still 7:40/8 start time.
When it actually gets to be hotter and rides are consistently approaching the 80-100 mile mark, we'll bump it up a half hour. Probably sometime after Mem. Day.
See you all tomorrow.
I'm in for B group at Georgetown to BP
Vote for 7:40/8
To the T.
I'm probably in for riding from cap hill tomorrow. But I need to finish asap so if I'm not there, I left without y'all. Wish there was a 6am start time.
Anybody going out tomorrow from G-town (8 a.m.)...?
I'm heading down to Kinetic to root for my wife tomorrrow. Maybe I'll get a ride in down there and draft off of some triathletes.
Is there a ride going out tomorrow, 5/11?
I just got a new bike before Peasantman and would like to get out on that sweet, sweet DMV asphalt, stretch out the cables a little...
If not, is there a specific route you all use? There is an NTP transition clinic at 8, but I'd rather get out on the road with the group if there is an opportunity...
text me if it's happening, please! 202.643.1279
As long as not a washout, I'll be there and I think that is the thought of a few others.
What are thoughts on adding Vendome on the way out to Great Falls? We start the hills with Mountain Gate, but Vendome is a good climb and has a cul de sac at end for ease of turning around.
I plan to go out from Eastern Mkt 7:40. 2 plus hrs
apogipinoy, if you are looking for route info., check out the original post in this thread. There are some route links there.
If you are new to the group, just a heads up that last week I rode with Zach D. and his bike posse. And it destroyed me. To keep everything straight, if you're new to the group you may want to add your expected average speed to make sure there are some folks that are going the same pace.
I didn't recognize all of the forum nicknames that are posting so thought I would toss out that friendly reminder to help organize pace groups.
If it's not raining, I will be there. Only have time to head to the BP and back, but I'm fine with extra hills along the way (Not that I'll be riding with Patrick/Zack...).
In for a 2 1/2 hrs recovery ride. See you at Wisc and M at 8am!
Is anyone heading out on Saturday? I am planning on a ride to the T, maybe Poolesville if the weather is persuasive. Who's coming with me??
I'll be in Georgetown at 8:00. I'll need several people in addition to Wes to pull me to Poolesville.
I'm in to help pull everyone all the way to Poolesville. (And when I say 'pull' I mean 'ride as closely behind as i can'...)
I'm be in Georgetown at 8:00. I plan to go to the BP and back at B/B+ pace.
I will try to get down to Georgetown for the ride. Probably head out to Sugarloaf if the weather holds out.
I'm planning on riding from Capitol Hill.
So I'm looking for about 100 this weekend. Maybe out to Sugarloaf and back?
Anyone else going out for a long day?
