Yes, you've seen volunteer calls for Nation's Tri... No, they're not all the same. There are 3 ways to volunteer for the race:
1) Through Gabi Torres and Robin Myers as a volunteer directly to Nations and one of the many open volunteer needs to execute the race itself.
2) The DC Tri Club water aid station on the run course. Bryan Frank has posted on the forum about this.
3) Through me to man the DC Tri Club expo tent on Friday and Saturday. That is what this thread is about...
The expo tent is a place to support our DC Tri Club racers, share info on the club with non-members, and hang out with other DC Tri-clubbers. It's a great way to give back to the club and those racing that day. Here is what we need...
Tent setup will be Friday, Sep 5th from 8-12 am.
The tent will be open from 12-8 on Friday and 9-6 on Saturday.
We need your help to setup the tent on Friday morning and man the tent on Friday and Saturday. If you'd like to join the fun and help the club, email VOLUNTEER@dctriclub.org with the time frame(s) you can help out. We're looking for 2 hour shifts, but if you're so motivated to be there for more than that, great!
Thanks for your awesome continued support of club activities!
BUMP... We're doing ok for Saturday, but we have very little help for Friday right now. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to help.
Where is the expo?
It's going to be held at the Washington Hilton. Here are some details.
