Good luck everyone!! I’m excited to hear how it goes. My race isn’t for 5 more weeks, and I’m jealous of the non 90-degree weather you’ll be racing in.
Also, a bit surprised that Eagleman might be swimsuit optional. Thank goodness you all have rocking bods from months of training! 🙂
I was able to go to the nutrition clinic back in March, but I totally missed the “continuous nibble” aspect. I’ve been following the calorie math on the bike pretty well, so I think this is the answer. (The Gatorade calories do count to that total, right? If not, I actually do need to add about 150 calories every hour.)

I cannot seem to get this right. It seems like no matter what refuel interval I try, I feel my energy subsiding and a slowdown of pace before it should be time to eat. If I drew my energy levels on my long rides, it would look like a wave going up and down. Could it be that I don’t have a similar schedule for hydration? Or could it be possible…[Read more]
I am new to the group, and was checking out your posts here. Were those weekly non-masters swims in Brookland at Catholic? I’m the rowing coach there and would be happy to serve as a point person if there is interest in getting those back up and running. It’d be great to have some company here!
