Hi:
My friends and I were supposed to participate in the Ironman 70.3 Maine, which sadly have been cancelled. Now we are thinking about organizing our own triathlon weekend retreat for that weekend. Our plan is to rent a house, near the ocean or a lake, and organize our own tri.
Does any suggestions in the Maryland and Virginia area?

Ride Postponed!!!
Hi everyone, I am postponing the ride. The forecast shows 15-20 mph wind from the South, which means were we to ride, we would be battling massive crosswinds the entire duration of the ride. Since this is meant to be an easy ride, the condition tomorrow is just too rough.
We will have the ride when conditions are nicer.

I am doing the group run in the morning, so maybe around 1pm?
Also, the forecast indicates really high wind on Saturday, so the condition on the road could be too rough cycling. If by Friday, forecast still shows high wind, I will cancel.

I plan to run in Rock Creek this Thursday at around 5:30. My plan is to park at Rock Creek Park Grove 1 and run to the Zoo.

The weather looks perfect this Saturday for a bike ride. Would anyone like to go on a bike brewery tour along the W&OD trail?
I propose we start at the Caboose Tavern in Vienna and head west along the W&OD. The trail is very flat, except for one punchy hill so cyclists of all levels can ride.

I pass through Rock Creek to and from work during weekdays. I am down for some afternoon runs.
Where do you like to meet? The parking lot on Beach Drive is the best for me.

There is someone with an iron man jersey in the NTP group. Damn he is fast o_O, but why is he in the NTP group?
