Club Member of the Year- I think David is it! He does more for the club than anyone will ever know. I appreciate how he has supported me as a member, and supported my knowledge gap my first year in the board, but I love more than anything else, hearing how he quietly supported so many others. “Without a David I would not have….” Is heard all the time. Thank you David.
October 26, 2022 at 10:14 pm #38601Juene RaderParticipantI second or third Mijal for Rookie of the Year. Not only was she an active NTP participant, but then she organized the WED, and SAT B group rode, as an NTPr. Truly appreciated her understanding of the clubs wants, and belong to facilitate them.
May 5, 2022 at 9:00 pm #37779Juene RaderParticipantI’ll also be there, but unfortunately I can’t car pool either. Going to visit with Grandma before the race. But I know quite a few DC TRI members who are racing. A handful are listed as attending on the Race page.

You can ask here, or email me directly at: partnerships@dctriclub.orgMarch 15, 2022 at 10:04 pm #37318Juene RaderParticipantNina, Sorry for the delay. I am one of the newest board members and a little behind getting the codes. Let me look, or reach directly out to them. This is my new #1 priority, hopefully I can get it to you by tomorrow.
May 13, 2020 at 12:45 pm #33237Juene RaderParticipantI guess I’m having problems finding the cut and paste button. Maybe you can refer me back to where this was discussed several times and I can try that again. I changed the Eagleman date from June to September but nothing changed.
Or more maybe if someone else on this forum has changed theirs recently, they can describe this a little different and that might be helpful.
This is my first time using training peaks.
May 12, 2020 at 6:44 pm #33229Juene RaderParticipantMaybe I missed my answer. I would like to change the goal race date of the training program in training peaks, is that possible? I do not want to build on what I have, I do not want to sustain/increase training for an additional 3 months. I would like to shift my plan to the right, to align with new dates. Is this possible? If this was already explained, my apologies, you can point me to the right forum date and I’ll reread. I read through them last night and I didn’t see this question answered.
I acknowledge that Cindy will get back to us in a few days, but if the answer is no, I assume I can still pay training peaks directly for the extra few months.May 11, 2020 at 10:44 pm #33221Juene RaderParticipantIt looks like we have a new Eagleman date. That said, since it’s concurrent with the full, and lodging is nearly non-existent, I panic got something, just to have something. Free cancellation of course.
I’d like to revisit training plans options now that there is something specific to re-gear towards. I applaud everyone who stuck with the training plan and fine tuned stuff during these times….that wasn’t me. I did whatever made me happy and ignored any though of a detailed schedule. But I’m ready to get back to a schedule.
Mechanically, what are my options to change the goal date in training peaks and shift the training plan to the right to align with a new race, Eagleman or another? That’s great that the club was trying to negotiate something with training peaks, I assume if it hasn’t been done, it won’t. Or is there an update in this that I missed? I assume I can throw my money at the problem and extend the subscription a few months?
Since this was all done through the club, I wanted to start here first. Thanks!
May 11, 2020 at 8:37 pm #33219Juene RaderParticipantI rode there last week also. No issues. No parking, but plenty of bike or foot access.
April 23, 2020 at 11:14 am #33036Juene RaderParticipantDid anyone complete Stage 2? I’ve been staring at it all week. It looks like a killer. Stage 3 looks more my pace.
thanks David for sharing these.April 17, 2020 at 9:19 am #32940Juene RaderParticipantWAIT, wait, wait. You can’t move on yet. I went back to get my full credit. Wow, that was a smoker.

Okay, I’ll look at phase 2 now.
April 13, 2020 at 10:05 pm #32906Juene RaderParticipantThanks for posting. I did some of this route today with Elise, before running out of time/light/energy. Took the C&O back instead of the hills. The mud was kinda fun to play in. I’ll go back and do the entire route, later. I look forward to more routes. Thanks again!
March 24, 2020 at 9:23 pm #32720Juene RaderParticipantI wish I was a mans XL, this stuff looks awesome.
March 22, 2020 at 7:16 pm #32697Juene RaderParticipantKevin, If no one else asks for the Tri-bars, I would love to have them. Mine have a crack in them.
February 17, 2020 at 9:26 pm #31883Juene RaderParticipantAJ, Thanks for the link, I listened to it today. Very helpful. I had a couple questions though, after listening.
Training Peaks- Am I supposed to be able to move the workouts around, before the day they are scheduled to be executed? I heard you discuss this, but wasn’t able to hear it clearly.
Also, it shows that I’m not using the Premium Version. Am I supposed to be using the premium version? All of your workouts are downloaded.
Finally, Apple Watch- Can I confirm that you stated that it will auto link Apple Watch workouts with training peaks? I have Trainer Road linked, but didn’t see Apple Watch as an option. I’ll look much closer if this is the case.
Thanks.
