Thank you Elizabeth for your participation and feedback!  Yes, breathing in open water is different than breathing in the pool.  So now you know what you can work on and where you can gain more practice!

That said, this swim should have given you some endurance confidence as well.  It seems the swim was more like 2200-2500 meters.  Of the data that I have reviewed, I saw one 2200 meters but most were around 2500 meter.  So you can definitely do the Oly swim now 🙂 Great work out there Elizabeth!
