TT bars: Getting the seat far enough forward is an issue, so you may need to get a new seat post. I got one from redshift a while back (ebay) and that’s helped, but definitely consult a fitter before doing anything.
Trainer: I have a fluid trainer (kinetic by kurt) and find it to be more than sufficient. I cant get the true Zwift experience, but honestly I prefer music or netflix over zwift. I can’t ride super specific course profiles (assume smart trainers do this?), but I’m pretty alright with that. Also perfectly happy to shift manually. So I’m find with the cheaper fluid trainer, doesn’t really affect me.
