Nick, make sure they do some kind of running gait analysis (once acute pain subsides) and give you cues to work on while you run. Its great to do a bunch of strength work for your medial glutes, but unless you change the mechanical patterns to engage them while you run, that work is useless. AJ mentioned this (point 2), but just wanted to really hammer it (since I lost ~15 months this a few years back).
