    What is the Extreme Cleanup?

Each spring, the Rock Creek Conservancy organizes and promotes the Rock Creek Extreme Cleanup, with trash cleanups at over 75 locations along the 33-mile length of Rock Creek. This year will be the Conservancy’s 10th year of hosting the cleanup on April 14, 2018! Our goal is total stream cleanup of Rock Creek and its tributaries, the parks connected to Rock Creek, and the neighborhoods near Rock Creek where trash originates. We work closely with the National Park Service and Montgomery County Parks.

The DC Tri Club invites you to take a break from training and give back to one of our favorite training venues by joining this Rock Creek clean-up event. This is also a great opportunity to engage with other members and give back to our local communities.

The event organizers ask that you individually register at http://publicevents.force.com/Public_Event_Signup_Page?cid=7010g000000mnqd. We also encourage you to learn more about the Rock Creek Conservancy at http://www.rockcreekconservancy.org.
