BIGGEST Happy Hour of The Year

The PeasantMan annual Happy Hour/packet pickup is back. Outside of the DCTri Kona viewing or perhaps even including the Koan viewing party, the PeasantMan annual Happy Hour/packet pickup attracts more DCTri members and former members than any other events that DCTri puts on. Though not an official DCTri club event, we typically attract 75-100 DCTri folks, some will be racing PeasantMan this year while others will not. It’s an opportunity to socialize, drink, bs, and get reacquainted with members over a beverage or two.  There will be tons of NTPers there to go along with veterans club members.  It’ll be a good mixture of faces and drinking abilities.

This year, it will take place along the Water Front (730 Maine Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024) in DC on Tuesday, April 30, from 6 PM – 8:30 PM, at the District Hardware and Bike shop. It’s FREE for all. Afterwards, folks will be bar hopping or moving to an eatery nearby to prolong the evening. There will be alcohol, food, coffee, and oscillating conversation with people who share your interests. Come out and join us. Presumably, you joined the club to meet other like minded people. Here’s your opportunity to do it en mass. Perhaps you will leave with a brother husband or sister wife.  The possibilities are endless.

We’ll also be raffling off a couple of aero helmets and bike tuneups for those in attendance.  The helmets will be a Louis Garneau P-09 Helmet  and Giro Aerohead MIPS Helmet, with both retailing over $225.  Those can be yours for just coming!
