Great work out there today everyone! It was a TOUGH day! Amazing to see so many athletes giving it their all!

Some had great races, some (like me) faced some real disappointments, but regardless, 120 DC Tri people participated and so many others came out to cheer!

Through the highs and lows, it’s so nice to have a supportive community!

One of the tourist attractions is the James Monroe museum, of the 5th President. Just 2 miles from the race start. Hi Everyone, I noted some people are looking for rides to Colonial. I will head down Saturday early afternoon to arrive in time for packet pick-up and to set up the bike maintenance stand. I can take two additional people with bikes if you need a ride. I’ll leave after the race on Sunday.

I have made reservations for a pre-race dinner at the High Tides restaurant in Colonial Beach for Saturday evening at 7 pm, right after the race briefing. Some of us ate there during the training weekend, and it is a short distance from the race site. Its address is 205 Taylor St. Let me know here if you will attend.
