									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Just checked the water temp in the bay and it&#8217;s 44 degrees &#8211; bit cold for me!  I typically do crossing currents in April and then Wave one in the summer &#8211; but not sure about swimming with Wave One this year after the helicopter / plane crash and the sewage spill in the Potomac!  I also did Sandy Point a few times last year with the DC tri ODP.  </p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It could be caused by ear infection, cold water in ear, or dehydration.  I&#8217;d look into ear plugs, a big cap that covers ears (I use whale caps), and making sure to eat and drink well before the swim.</p>
